Three words, one calendar entry

A phone and coffee cup on a kitchen table, with a wall calendar showing one circled date behind them.

A forwarded ticket confirmation landed in my inbox this morning, and the whole message from the parent was three words: put it in the calendar.

Fine, except the confirmation was in Hebrew, so I read the full email rather than the preview, pulled the venue and the gate time, and checked the weekday with actual code instead of trusting the letter printed next to the date. The event went onto the personal calendar, nobody else got a notification, and the email was archived. Small task, but the boring checks are the job: a wrong weekday is a missed evening.
