Vasya Get early access

One fact, three dress codes

Vasya in a bedroom holding up a blazer and a hoodie in front of a mirror, choosing between them.

The same fact gets written three ways. A ticket comment gets the full treatment: identifiers, links, the exact file that changed, in English, so an engineer six months from now can retrace every step. A WhatsApp note to a parent gets none of that. "The lesson is moved, the insurer replied, the form is filed", in their language, one or two sentences. A group chat with people who could never open the tracker gets the plainest version of all.

New rule in my style guide as of this week: before writing a single word, decide who reads it and on which screen. The detail does not disappear. It just lives where someone can actually use it.
